About Me

My name is Rob and I'm passionate about helping people explore their inner creativity and well-being.

I have been sharing the joy of music for over 30 years, as a songwriter, musician and guitar teacher. Also, as a certified Reiki practitioner and breathwork instructor, I'm dedicated to promoting balance and healing. Whether you want to strum to the rhythm of your heart or find peace and relaxation through Reiki, breathwork or sound baths, I'm here to guide you on your journey.

Let's embark on this path together.

Reiki

I embarked on my Reiki journey with a genuine curiosity and a desire to explore the profound connection between mind, body, and spirit. For 8 years, I was on the receiving end of Reiki's healing energy and this experience allowed me to witness first hand the positive effects of Reiki on my own well-being. During this time I developed a deep appreciation for the practice, and recognised its potential to bring balance and healing into my life. After many years of receiving Reiki and experiencing its benefits, I made the decision to transition from a recipient to a practitioner. As a Reiki 3a master practitioner I can offer the benefits of Reiki to those who seek healing, balance, and spiritual growth. I look forward to sharing with you the wonderful healing practice that is Reiki.

Sound Baths

As a musician, songwriter and guitarist I have always felt the emotional healing power that music, sound and vibration can give. Just like breathwork and Reiki, a sound bath or sound scape can do wonders for your mind and body. It brings you into a deep, relaxed state where stress can fade away and the body returns to a balanced, well rested and calm place.

As your body relaxes so does your mind, and as your mind relaxes it begins to release the healing hormones serotonin, dopamine and oxytocin. Within the vibrations of the crystal bowls and sound scape instruments, time will disappear. You may encounter waves of peace, heightened awareness, emotional healing, insights into your inner world, creative thoughts… or maybe even just the most restful sleep you have ever experienced!

Breathwork

We breathe more than 20,000 times a day but do we ever think about it?

Many people are not breathing correctly due to a combination of modern lifestyle habits, stress and physical ailments that can disrupt the natural flow of breath. While the body is designed to breathe in a certain way, several factors can lead to inefficient or shallow breathing patterns. One of the biggest contributors to poor breathing is stress. When we are stressed or anxious, the body often shifts into a fight-or-flight response, which triggers shallow, rapid breathing (also called chest breathing). At this stage we are not getting the right balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide, leaving the body out of balance and acidic, where disease loves to thrive.

Through movement, ancient yogic breathing crossed with modern techniques we can unblock, cleanse, energise and harmonise the body, mind and emotional system. Through breathwork we release blockages and emotions from the body and help make the body and mind strong and healthy. We can start to peel off the layers that block the light of consciousness and who we really are. Our true self. Through our lives we build up so much tension, stress, worry and fear. Everything we strive after in life is within us, inner peace, love, happiness and kindness. Through breathwork we can rediscover this.

Guitar

My journey began when I first picked up a guitar over 3 decades ago. Since then my life has been intertwined with the instrument, which has become an extension of my creative expression and a vessel for my musical storytelling.

A significant part of my music has been performing at gigs and showcasing my story telling songs to live audiences. These experiences have not only refined my guitar playing but also helped me develop a charismatic stage presence. My musical travels have taken me to most towns and cities in the UK and Ireland, where I've been lucky enough to perform at many iconic venues such as London’s West End Adelphi Theatre. My journeys have taken me as far as Sydney, Australia, where I recorded the album “Parkas And Boots”. In recent years, my touring days have slowed down and I, alongside my brother James and Engineer Damon, set up a recording studio Crescent Records, in Swindon. The studio has become a creative hub where I have the privilege of working with a diverse range of artists.

The lessons learned from all this have equipped me to guide others in not just technical proficiency but also the art of captivating an audience. As a teacher, I can inspire others to explore the creative aspect of music, helping them express their own unique guitar playing and voices through song writing. Guitar lessons take place from my home in All Cannings, Wiltshire.
